{"id":320,"date":"2025-09-21T05:02:22","date_gmt":"2025-09-21T05:02:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/amritavarsham.org\/news\/?p=320"},"modified":"2025-09-26T05:45:26","modified_gmt":"2025-09-26T05:45:26","slug":"honouring-mother-earth-in-honour-of-amma-visual-essay","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/amritavarsham.org\/news\/2025\/09\/21\/honouring-mother-earth-in-honour-of-amma-visual-essay\/","title":{"rendered":"Honouring Mother Earth in Honour of Amma: Visual Essay"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In an auspicious confluence of events, World Cleanup Day happens on September 20th\u2014just one week before\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/amritavarsham.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Amritavarsham<\/a>, the grand celebrations for Amma\u2019s birthday.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>To prepare this year, volunteers across India took part in a mega cleanup drive around our Ashrams,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/amma.org\/project\/amrita-university\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Amrita University campuses<\/a>, and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/amma.org\/project\/amrita-hospitals-kochi-faridabad\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Amrita Hospitals<\/a>. The event was part of our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/amma.org\/project\/clean-india-beautiful-india\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Amala Bharatam Campaign<\/a>\u2014Clean India, Beautiful India.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/BfLwJRChMws?si=w3fHf2mkDI57WhI_\" width=\"100%\" height=\"550\" frameborder=\"0\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In villages surrounding Amritapuri, local volunteers, Ashram residents, international visitors,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/amma.org\/groups-centres\/ayudh\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AYUDH\u00a0<\/a>youth members, university students and community leaders joyfully picked up
