C.R. Mahesh M.L.A emphasised the need for everyone to work together diligently to organise the 70th birthday celebrations of Mata Amritanandamayi Devi as an environment and community-friendly event. During the meeting held at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham on 2 October, he also informed that in matters related to traffic management and civil defence preparedness, Mata Amritanandamayi Math, under the leadership of C.R. Mahesh MLA, has collaborated with Student Police Cadets and Civil Defence Force to ensure coordination and security. It was emphasised that Mata Amritanandamayi Math serves as a role model on a global scale in these aspects. Methods to mitigate traffic congestion, adoption of parking regulations, alternate routes, waste management and related strategies were also discussed. Block Panchayat members including Nisha Ajayakumar, Sherly Sreekumar, O. Minimol (President of Clappana Panchayat), Mini Mol Nisam (President of Kulasekharam Panchayat), U. Ulhas (President of Alappad Grama Panchayat), P. Shibu, the Tahsildar of Karunagappally, S. Madhukumar, Special Village Officer of Alappad, Ochira S.I. L. Niyas, Amritapuri S.I. C.C. Vinayakumar, environmental engineer K.R. Anikar, Health Inspector T.R. Mahesh, employees from both the Health Department and Revenue Department, professionals, representatives of the Vyapari-Vyavasaayi Ekopanasamithi, and the P.R.O. of Mata Amritanandamayi Math Brahmachari Shreevatsan also participated in the session.
