Amritavarsham50 Cultural Performances
24 - 27 September 2003
They came from around the world. Musicians and dancers of all faiths, colours and walks of life. From classical Indian dance to breakdance, from fire-eaters to flautists, from loud guitars to lions—Amritavarsham50 had it all. This was Amma's children's offering to Her: the diverse artistic beauty of the world laid at Her feet.

Amma says that music and dance are ways for us to open our hearts to God, to cry out our sorrow and to express our longing to merge in the divine. The diverse cultures of the world are its treasures, and they need be shared and preserved. It was with this in mind, that the Amritavarsham50 cultural performances were held.
